It may be that MMW doesn’t like the underscore. I had a similar problem when I used # in the name of my stations.

Hello all,
Forgive me if this has been discussed before, I searched the forums and I wasn’t able to find any similar issues.
I’ve been trying to set up a new monitoring station (Tom_Nat) and I’m running into a strange problem. It seems as though data from the data logger is being uploaded to MMW, but the data isn’t being published correctly. The…[Read more]

I’ve been building electronic circuits since high school. In case its of any use, I’m now using Kicad 6.0 https://www.kicad.org/blog/ and it has been excellent for reasonable human place able surface mount geometries of 0402 and larger. There is an evolving library of component footprints . Any non-standard footprint are possibly where the real…[Read more]

Thanks for the details. I’ve created a GitHub issue for this.

Well I’m working with some engineering students at 9am PST (10min) on how to modify Kicad files. A bit short notice but you could join in then if interested.

Yes, that is true. We could maybe use 50 cards but I probably won’t make it right the first time and then I have 50 cards to recycle.
I used the board file to make some shields but this is something another level. I will have a look around at the University for some expertise in the matter.
Maybe it is simpler for us to use something like a f…[Read more]

Hello! We want to make a small run (~10 boards) of a PCB board we’re using in a dissolved oxygen autochamber. I am new to the world of PCB manufacturing and working with Eagle so I’m barely familiar with the terminology, file requirements (e.g., Gerber files), etc. Thus please excuse my ignorance. I currently have a BRD and SCH file in Eagle (my…[Read more]

Hi James, we regularly had this problem when using the Decagon CTD-10s connected to a DIY Arduino Mega data logger. We ended up taking the median value of 10 measurements taken 1x/second every 5 mins. However, what eventually worked (if I’m remembering this correctly; this was my dissertation research done in 2016-2019) was clamping an RF ferrite…[Read more]

@Erik_G just an FYI, its made to look easy by Shannon, however it takes a lot of experience to get it right and then make it available as purchase.
Typically to do an order with a PCB assembly service, the qty of 50 is when there is the lowest cost per device. However assembly services only assemble to the instructions you provide. If you provide…[Read more]
