A few people seem to have mentioned modem failures. I’m wondering if people who have experienced modem failures could share what data they have on the the failures, part number, how they detected a failure, and how many months the devices where in the field.
I’m a hardware engineer, and when components start failing I look to pay attention to…[Read more]

@shicks, has anyone from Stroud contacted Verizon about this? I am also hitting a wall with adding the LTEBee modem to our Verizon account. The rep from Verizon that we work with is willing to speak with the device manufacturer to get them added to the Device Management Database. Thanks for the heads up, I just updated the availability page. We shipped more boards to Amazon before the holidays, but they haven’t restocked them yet. Hopefully they’ll be back in stock and available soon, but in the meantime, they’re still available in 5-packs in the EnviroDIY Shop.

FYI, just noting here that the Hardware Status and Availability page is not up to date, at least with respect to Mayfly board availability on Amazon, as they are out of stock.

@hannahlb I’m also quite new to this community and I think I’m interested in setting up a very similar application. Specifically 2 and 3 in @neilh20 ‘s response sound like what I’ve been googling. If you’ve got it working, I’d love to hear how you set it up/sketch examples, etc.
