@vogelrnws I had been looking at porting it to another processor and been using it and digging into the code. I’ve looked at some of the RP2040, but I’m cautious about its ability to go into low power – but haven’t looked at it in depth.
The SDI-12 lib uses a software based UART – running at 1200Baud, so 1200Baud is pretty slow and it does handle…[Read more]

Has anyone looked to see if the SDI-12 library could be ported to the new RP2040 chip. Maybe that already works in its existing state, but I haven’t see it mentioned anywhere. This is the new IC that runs the RPi Pico and can be used via the Arduino language.

@hannahlb if I understand you – you have 4 geographically distributed ISCO samplers (say more than 100m apart) and you would like to trigger them when a threshold is exceeded from a Solinst level sensor. The trigger would be communicated via messages on the telemetry NB-iot?
Probably the best way to think about it is in stages
1) figure if t…[Read more]

Hannah,
I use Campbell dataloggers (CR800) to collect and send data from ISCO auto samplers to a database. The Campbell datalogger program also has the capability to accumulate stormwater flow data and initiate flow paced sample collection with the samplers via a SampleRequest command. I haven’t connected an ISCO 6712 to an Arduino but I’m…[Read more]

Hi all,
I’m new to this community and am currently trying to figure out how best to connect an ISCO 6712 autosampler to an Arduino-based narrowband Internet-of-Things (NB-IoT) module. The aim is to create a node network of 4 autosamplers which will trigger simultaneously during events based on a water level threshold measured using the Solinst…[Read more]

Hi Sara,
Here’s an example: http://18.117.19.92:8080/wofpy/rest/1_1/GetValuesForASite?site=envirodiy:BCGC2S&startDate=2022-12-09T00:00:00&endDate=2022-12-09T23:59:00
Yes, I’d like to regularly poll the system. I’ll send an email.

It sounds like you’ve got one of the older Digi LTE cell boards? We retired most of ours in 2020 because they failed after a year or two of operation, which is why we developed our own LTEbee module based on the SIM7080. What does the data on you microSD card say the signal strength and battery voltage is since the station went offline?

I also responded on GitHub (https://github.com/EnviroDIY/SensorModbusMaster/issues/25), but the endian-ness of your sensor simulator is not compatible. You simulator seems to be sending CDAB mixed-endian. SensorModbusMaster only supports ABCD or DCBA.
