Hi All. Is it possible to transfer ownership of an MMW site to another user?

Hello,
I am putting together a micromet station that includes some sdi12 sensors (meter group Terros 21, and Acclima 315H) and some analog thermistors (homebuilt but the same components as the Campbell Sci 107) with a second resistor (24.9K) wired between the return wire and the ground. I have some separate pieces of example code for the SDI12…[Read more]

I seem to be having some problems with a Mayfly ver 0.5b data logger. It has not recorded data since October 29th, nor has it connected to the cellular network since that day. I believe it is the cellular card on the board, but wanted to inquire about functionality because I cannot find documentation on the meaning of the LED indicators. When the…[Read more]

Gosh complex – it was great in the above all the linkages – reviews technically to my mind are features, and synergy in using them. Seems to me reviews can be on how to use (introducing to a new audience), tea […]

@khaase interesting getting the LiSOCL2 activated.
My 2Cents is it would be good to characterize the 350mA pulse – and isolate it from the mega1284’s high impedance LiSOCL2. That could mean that for the “high impedance” (for a battery) LiSOCL2, the current draw has to be kept below a threshold, treated as a constant current source.…[Read more]

For electronics hardware – most people are used to shopping and then buying – simple transaction – however Open-Source Hardware at the board level can be different.

So, I’m interested in a discussion of how can OSH is used – Mayfly and other.…[Read more]

I ordered the cable. FWIW The folks that run Tag-Connect are very friendly!

I’ve been testing with Mayfly 1.1 and LiSOCl2 D batteries. Our package is using a Mayfly 1.1, and SD card, and a sensor on the switch power that pulls ~350 mA in pulses when its on.
I initially tried using 1S4P configuration with 95sq015 protection diodes with the intent of preventing heating from cell imbalances. That puts the Vin at about 3.4…[Read more]

Thank you for the link. I was googling for pogo pin grids, what a nifty widget.

The Mayfly v1.1RevB board uses a 6-pin Tag-Connect socket for the ICSP header: https://www.tag-connect.com/product-category/products/cables/6-pin-target
Previous versions of the Mayfly boards used standard header pins for the ICSP header, (0.5″ spacing on v1.0 and v1.1RevA, and 0.1″ spacing on v0.5 and older).
