The WoFpy end-point should be usable. Can you give an example URL that you’re trying?
Are you setting up a system to regularly poll Monitor My Watershed? If this is something you plan do to automatically and frequently, please email help@monitormywatershed.org so we can talk directly with to make sure you’re using the most efficient endpoint possible.

Can you explain what issues you’re having?
Are you trying to use the library or to modify it? The instructions you linked are for making changes to the library itself.

Mostly the cables we put in are armored – 3/4″ flexible and can be joined easly – something like https://www.lowes.com/pd/HydroMaxx-3-4-in-x-50-ft-Black-Flexible-PVC-Pipe/1002884464
Also seen cables chewed by squirrels .

Canandaigua Lake Chapter of Trout Unlimited installed a Mayfly unit in August this year. On October 28th our unit flatlined and no temperature dat was being reported. Upon inspection the cable to the temperature sensor was severed. The unit was in a section that was knee3 deep even though the flow on the Cohocton River is very low (37 CFS). Ha…[Read more]

Hi @khaase I haven’t figured out what the source of the reset is, as the AVR1284 Arduino code discards it – very frustrating.
I have used low ESR capacitors – something like Digikey 732-9079-1-ND CAP ALUM 680UF 20% 10V THRU HOLE LOW ESR
Whenever I have longer wires, a power switch, or current measurement, with the LiIon battery, I get some…[Read more]

That is useful, and along the lines of my thinking: moving to LiSOCL2. Though I am having trouble getting supplies to test. The internal impedance of those, especially when low or cold, is a big question. My system can use all the deep-sleep tricks, but when measuring the load spikes up to ~350 mA for fractions of a second, and I wonder if this…[Read more]

Hi Karl
Have you had a look at maxbotix? Not sure if they do a 150m ranging sensor – could you mount the sensor on a rod and insert that to say 140m or is the fluctuation in level too much?
https://www.maxbotix.com/
This video also presents a range of options, more on the diy side…
