That is useful, and along the lines of my thinking: moving to LiSOCL2. Though I am having trouble getting supplies to test. The internal impedance of those, especially when low or cold, is a big question. My system can use all the deep-sleep tricks, but when measuring the load spikes up to ~350 mA for fractions of a second, and I wonder if this…[Read more]

Hi Karl
Have you had a look at maxbotix? Not sure if they do a 150m ranging sensor – could you mount the sensor on a rod and insert that to say 140m or is the fluctuation in level too much?

Hello all,
I’ve been trying to properly set up my platformio.ini configuration file to test some code out, but keep running into issues. I tried following the steps from the ModularSensors page but haven’t had any luck. Would someone be able to walk me through this process?

Dear Shannon , I have already connected the GND of the Modem and GND of the Mayfly. Interfacing between Mega2560 to the Modem I have used of level converter ( 3.3V to 5 V) for TX1 and RX1 . Because the operating of the modem is 3.3 Volt and the the Mega is a 5 Volt.
The operating of the Modem was a 3.3 Volt for the RX1 and TX1 and operating the…[Read more]

Is there any updated timeline on the RS-485 half shield production? The last update was about 6 months ago.
Thanks!

No, the only official way to buy a single Mayfly is through our listing in Amazon, while 5-packs can be purchased through the Shop on this website.
