Thank you for your advice. I changed the I2C address at line 34 in the AOSongAM2315.cpp. I got this output ..

Hi!
I have quite the same projects ! But still wondering wich is the best solutions.
I had good results with MaxBotix products, but they are limited to 15 meters max. So it’s seems a better option for surface water than underground water.
What have you chosen finaly ?

I know nothing about rosserial. Are you using Hardware Serial with it? Serial or Serial1? Are you using some type of software serial (SoftwareSerial, AltSoftSerial, NeoSWSerial)? Very quickly skimming the rosserial docs and code, it looks like it has some specific boards that are supported and the 1284p in the Mayfly may not be 100%…[Read more]

Hello, my senior project team at Lake Superior State University is using the Mayfly board with the Hydros 21 CTD sensor.
We are using the ModularSensors library and we’re wondering if there is a power cycle taking place that could affect any serial communication. There are no issues with communication or connection when sending data from the…[Read more]

I’m not familiar with the new C model, but I did use the older, now-discontinued one awhile back. Without digging into the manual and the library too deep, I’m guessing it might be an I2C address issue? The old model used 0xB8 whereas the new one uses 0x38. So go into the ModularSensors/src/sensors folder and edit AOSongAM2315.cpp, find line 34…[Read more]

EnviroDIY Modular Sensors has the AOSongAM2315 but not the new AM2315C. I have the AM2315C. Is there a way for me to integrate the newer AM2315C sensor into my Mayfly project? I have the wiring ready. I have successfully tested the sensor and received good values using an example program so I know the sensor works but when I use the AOSongAM2315.h…[Read more]
