Sara,
I thought I had found the problem but, I was wrong. However, to be honest I don’t know if I have a Decagon CTD-10 or a Meter Group Hydros 21. My invoice calls out a “CTD-10Hydros 21”. The Quick Start Guide calls out a Decagon CTD-10 but I thought I ordered a Meter Group Hydros 21. I have no idea if this even makes a difference.

After copying text from ‘Token and UUID List’ and adding to DRWI_LTE (see screenshots) I’m getting an error message after hitting upload button. “Error compiling for board EnviroDIY Mayfly 1284p.” Any suggestions? I double checked the changes and can’t find any errors.

Cheryl Nolan replied to the topic Connecting Bare Wire Sensor to Jack Adapter in the forum Mayfly Data Logger 3 years, 8 months ago
I called Meter Group tech support because my manual only showed the 3.5mm jack connection, bare wires were not addressed and they confirmed your connection, Shannon. (red to D2, white to Vcc, and black to GND) I also had a 4th bare wire that he told me to wrap with electrical tape and tape it out of the way so it can’t cross other connections. He…[Read more]

I have a bare 4-wire CTD sensor and and adapter with 4 connection points (screw terminals). How do I know which wire goes to which terminal. I see where the ground connects at GND (see photos) but the other three are a mystery.
Thanks

Yes, I do and it’s inserted print side up. I guess it’s possible the battery is dead, although it’s new. I also just saw that the day, date and time are not changing. I last set it on Tuesday and left it plugged in and turned on and when I hit the Serial Monitor it’s still showing Tuesday 2/9/2021. Is that also a sign the battery is dead?

I have uploaded the temperature, now and adjust sketches to my data logger a couple of times now. If I disconnect the board from the USB port of my computer it seems I lose them. I haven’t turned the board off, just unplugged the USB cord. Is this suppose to happen? I’ve been following along on the second workshop YouTube video and had to stop…[Read more]

Thanks but I can’t use the jack end. I have to be able to plug in a jumper wire that then plugs directly into a board.

I don’t know, I’m just going off of the parts list that I have. It may, since the sensor only has 4 wires.

Does anyone know the availability of the Grove 6-Pin Screw Terminal Stereo Jack Adapter? I found one place that’s selling it for $7 but the shipping is $25. I currently have two of the plug in adapters but need the screw in type.
Thanks

Another question now that I have this part it specifically says not to open it “except at a static free workstation”. Will a concrete floor and a discharge prior to opening the bag work?

Does anyone know if the LTE-M1: Bluetooth, Cellular 4G LTE CAT-M1 (AT&T/Verizon) is still available from Digi XBee Cellular? When I do a search for it on their site this comes up Digi XBee Cellular LTE Cat 1, Verizon LTE Cat 1, Dual U.FL, TH.
Thanks

Thanks Sara! I clicked on the link you provided but…… I’m lost. I have no experience with this level of computer technology. Once I get to the page there are many links on the page. Three at the top of the page are VCP, D2XX, and D3XX. Do I download one of these to the Arduino software someplace? Sorry, I’m just not that computer…[Read more]

I’ve been following along with the YouTube Mayfly Workshop Day 1 and got through to the end where we hook up the Mayfly for the first time and Shannon mentioned that if ‘Port’ in Arduino Tools pull down menu is greyed out then your drivers aren’t installed. That’s what happened to me. I did get a pop up message as soon as I plugged my Mayfly in so…[Read more]
