I did a quick search on “HydroShare” and only came up with one forum post, so I thought I would ask the question …
How do I connect MMW to HydroShare?
In MMW, under “My Account” there is a button to “Connect” to HyrdroShare. I had tried this before, some time ago, but I just end up with “You are being redirected to hydroshare.org” followed by…[Read more]

Not sure what the problem is, but the file seems to be valid.
I set up a test site, added the same sensors and changed the UUIDs in the file you attached to match what I set up and it uploaded with no problem.
Test Site (STLWTR-TEST) (monitormywatershed.org)
My first guess would be to check that the UUIDs are correct for the site you are…[Read more]

Robert S replied to the topic MMW not receiving data in the forum Monitor My Watershed 3 years, 6 months ago
I am seeing what I think @thomas-schanandore is seeing as well.
MMW is saying that many sites have not been updated (ex. May 6, 2021, 3:50 p.m. (UTC-05:00) (12 hours, 55 minutes ago).Last night I could not manually upload my data and this morning I receive a Server Error (500) when trying to log in

Anyone else experiencing issues with MMW ?
When I go to “Browse Sites”, the map is displayed but no markers for the individual sites.

While it doesn’t use the Mayfly, I was inspired by the work done by the OpenCTD team. It’s nice to see projects that guide the user through the process (like EnviroDIY).
“The OpenCTD is a low-cost, open-source […]

I just thought I would add this option to the forum in case someone else has the same issue because I recently broke the vertical adapter that came with one of my kits.
I found this solution on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QXPG8HG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Not as easy to use as the vertical adapter and you…[Read more]

Okay, here is what I see …
Note: I am no expert but having an extra set of eyes helps sometimes.
I set up a dummy site and tried to replicate what I saw in your files. You can have a look at the site to compare it to what you have set up and let me know if it seems different. I will leave it up for a bit but it will be removed if we have…[Read more]

@armas
I can’t think of any one thing that may be wrong (internet service, formatting, etc) without seeing some of the data.
Could you maybe post some small samples of the files your are working with (raw – from the logger and processed – after Excel macros)?

I found that the best way was to have the Mayfly output the…[Read more] -

I would be interested to know if anyone can find these and will keep an eye on this thread.
I have not been able to easily find them and have resorted to cutting them off the ready-made cables when needed:
(ex. https://www.robotshop.com/en/grove-universal-4-pin-unbuckled-20cm-cable-5-pack.html)
Fairly cheap until you start adding up shipping…[Read more] -
Robert S replied to the topic MMW Data Outage? in the forum Monitor My Watershed 4 years, 4 months ago
Okay. I misunderstood.
I thought you were saying that ONLY 2G stations were affected. I did see that the Punches Run station was back up this morning.
Thanks for the clarification.

My bad for starting this post in the wrong category. I should have paid more attention!
Forgive my ignorance about the technical details of cellular service but …
As for “any stations currently offline right now are likely using 2G hardware…”, SL168 (Punches Run was upgraded to 4G in 2019 but was still down. If the logger…[Read more] -

I see some sites came back online @ 7:15 UTC but some are still reporting out.

Is there a problem with the data age not updating on the MMW site or an outage of cellular coverage?
I am seeing a lot of sites that haven’t been updated in the last 7 hours (at the time of this posting).

Well, I thought I would look deeper, but it’s pretty much Greek to me. The console has a lot that I won’t even pretend to understand, but the only differences I notice are in the attachments provided.
Definitely works with an incognito tab but not a standard tab (in Chrome – Firefox works fine for me).
