Aha – I think that must be it. I retested with a new Mayfly, and its reported voltage agrees with my multimeter within 0.1V. The old Mayfly (s/n is either 180080 or 190080) was probably purchased in 2018, and has been my desktop tester, almost always under USB power, so didn’t detect any problems until now.

For whatever reason it didn’t work too well in the systemSleep function as it seemed to stall my sensors and not allow enough time to wakeup the sensors for reading. Just to make sure my understanding is correct, the ADS1115 is included in the Mayfly because it provides more voltage resolution than on standard analog pins, i.e. it allows for finer divisions than 0-1023 bits?

I checked my GMI_EC5 station that I mentioned above that was not keeping up and I measured about 2.4 mA current draw when the mayfly is in sleep mode.  I thought it should be close to zero when in sleep mode.

Any thoughts Shannon?
