I noticed both the LTE Bee Adapter and the Mayfly Data Logger Starter Kit are unavailable on Amazon. Are there plans to replenish stock in the near future? Thanks.

We are temporarily sold out of both right now but will hopefully get more in stock soon, though I don’t have an estimated date for that yet.

Update: I shipped some kits to Amazon this evening, so they should be available again by this weekend or early next week. The LTEbee adapter boards will be a longer wait though.

Hi. When do you think the LTE bee adapter boards will be available? I’ve bought the starter kit and sensor and am working on all the other bits and pieces now. Thanks

Same question regarding the – Grove 6-pin Screw Terminal and Grove 3.5mm Stereo Jack Adapter.

All the starter kits I sent to Amazon at the beginning of the month sold out within a few days of being back in stock. I’m still waiting on the shipment from the manufacturer to get all of our products back in stock on Amazon. The holidays kind of mess up the schedules. I’ll post an update whenever I have an estimate on when everything will be available again.

We finally received the Mayfly boards and other accessories, so we’re working to get everything tested, packaged, and shipped to Amazon as quickly as possible. Everything will hopefully be available online again by this weekend or early next week.

Anyone knows where one can buy a Mayfly board nowadays? Amazon won’t ship outside the US, at least not to Europe. Been looking everywhere to no avail.

Any plans to restock Amazon with Mayfly boards anytime soon? … would love to pick up a few for this field season. Thanks much, Matt

We received a shipment of new boards from the manufacturer last week, and I’m working right now on testing and packaging everything, so we’ll be sending them to Amazon next week and they should be available on there shortly after that.

As stated above, I’m prepping the products right now for shipment to Amazon, so they should be available whenever Amazon receives them, processes them, and lists them as available on their system again. I have no idea how long their side of things will take, sometimes it’s only a few days, but lately it’s been more like a week or more. Amazon is still our only sales outlet, so there’s no other ways to purchase them.

Thanks for the update Shannon – we have 12 out in the field for collecting soil moisture in a project with the USFS – I should probably update that thread. We are looking to buy 15 more for installation in Vermont now, too.
One cool piece of info for you all is that the Mayflys we had installed over-winter in northern NH made it through -20F temperatures outside their casing. We had a deep cycle battery and solar panel and they capture soil moisture dynamics during winter/spring transition – the first time that has been documented.
A broader question – would Stroud/EnviroDIY like info on how we are using these devices as part of research work? I imagine it may help SWRC’s outreach efforts?

@dartmouthwsn Thanks for the offer, Dave! We’re definitely interested and would really appreciate it if you would share information in a blog post here on EnviroDIY. Please email me at webmaster@stroudcenter.org for details.

For anyone looking or an update on board availability: We sent a huge shipment of boards, kits, and adapters to Amazon almost 3 weeks ago, they received them a few days later but still have not processed them and added them back into their inventory. So we’re still waiting for that to happen, and the products will not show up on Amazon until they’ve processed that shipment. Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for the headsup. I was checking yesterday so wondering what the status was. Many thanks

Good news, Amazon finally processed the shipments and our items show up again in their system, but there will still be a delay until they’ve fully distributed within their warehouse network and start shipping them out. Also remember that if you want to purchase more than 10 of any of the items, we’d really prefer you to contact us directly at mayfly@envirodiy.org so that we can keep the Amazon inventory for customers who want to buy smaller quantities.

Is this forum still being monitored? I don’t see any recent posts.
I’m interested in building a Mayfly but the LTE Bee Adapter is unavailable on Amazon. Are there still plans to supply these? Thanks.

The forum is very active, there have been 7 post in just the past 24 hours alone. Do you mean this particular thread? Almost all of our items have been in stock on either Amazon or our new EnviroDIY Shop page for several months now, but we recently sold out of LTEbee adapters on both sites because of a huge rush of large orders a few weeks ago. We’re working to restock them but I don’t have an estimate on availability yet.

Yes, I meant the thread. Sorry. The forum is super helpful! Thanks for your reply. I’ll keep watching Amazon for stock.

Hi all,
Sorry to be another squeaky wheel but we’re after LTE adapters too. I plan on making a purchase of 10 x Mayflies and 10 x LTE adapters as soon as these are available. Can someone please tag me with any update.
Cheers,

The LTEbee adapters have been stuck in shipping transit for over 2 weeks, and then there were customs processing delays. They been scheduled for delivery for the past few days but then get rescheduled. Supposedly they’ll be delivered tomorrow (Monday) and I’ll list them as available in the EnviroDIY shop page in 5-packs as soon as they arrive. I’ll also send single units to Amazon to restock the inventory there, but they typically take almost a month to restock, so ordering from the EnviroDIY shop page will be the quickest option for people who want 5 or more.

The new LTEbee adapter boards were finally delivered yesterday, I listed them in stock on the Shop page this morning. Most of the people who have been looking to purchase them have already placed their orders. But for anyone else interested in them, they are back in stock. I also added the protoshields to the EnviroDIY shop, they were previously only available on Amazon.
